About Acqua Dolce
Acqua Dolce Therapies was born in 2022 out of Martina's desire to share with all her clients what a great and powerful tool massage therapy is, what it can do for them to feel better in their body & mind and how they can implement their daily routines to feel less stressed and overwhelmed and more relaxed and present.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I am Martina Mula – a holistic massage therapist based in Hereford.
โ
โI was born on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Sardinia, a place that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
โ
Growing up, I would often visit a serene spot near my hometown of Cala Gonone called Acqua Dolce. This place was my sanctuary, where I could find peace and restore myself whenever I needed. I named my business Acqua Dolce Therapies inspired by this peaceful place, reflecting my aim to create a space of balance and renewal for others.
My passion for complementary therapy began here in Sardinia, where I pursued my studies and graduated in Herbal Medicine at Cagliari University.
โLike many of my clients, in the past I have experienced the toll of working long hours, feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and physically strained. Over time, I learned that prioritising self-care was not just a choice – it was a necessity.
โ
This realisation led me, after moving to Hereford a few years ago, to pursue a Level 4 Diploma in Holistic Massage at the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork (BCMB).
Today, I am passionate about helping others to find balance and wellbeing through the transformative power of massage therapy. To ensure I am providing the best care possible, I stay committed to professional growth by training every year and staying updated on industry regulations.
As a proud member of the Massage Training Institute (MTI), I follow their high standards of professionalism and skill, tailoring each session to my clients’ unique needs.โ

Outside of Work
โ
When I am not practicing massage therapy, you will often find me enjoying the simple joys of life. I love reading, cooking, and immersing myself in nature.
Long walks with my dog help me stay grounded and present, while time spent with family and friends always leaves me feeling recharged and inspired.
โ
I am also the Hereford host for Creative Wellbeing Circle, a networking group for female entrepreneurs in the creative and wellbeing industry. Together, we go for walks, share meaningful moments, and support one another’s journeys, combining nature, connection, and inspiration.
